Do not do business with this company. I m a dentist in Anaheim and dealing with Medico
Linen Services has been a nightmare. They get you sign the contract, then do not keep their
part. Very frustrated by them yet feel sorry for them, such a disgrace and desperate
company....

Invoices are LOADED WITH EXTRA CHARGES ( $23.00 Fuel Chg, Finance Chg $3.21, CC Admin
Fee $14.92, Statement Surcharge $5.00 all this before any charges for actual product!) AND
we were being charged regularly for "items not returned" When we searched the office to find
if we had any gowns not returned, we did find some and promptly returned them. Although
we no longer had extra gowns the charges for "items not returned" continued and sometimes
were as high as $151.20! When we called our rep to have these charges taken off he talked
over us saying, "Yeah Yeah it'll be taken care of" but it wasn't. This went on for months, we
emailed them statements to show what charges needed to be removed, the rep denied ever
getting the emails. Tried asking for a supervisor but they kept sending our calls to the rep
who talks over us and doesn't get things done. Besides billing issues gowns were often sent
with stains on them or even writing (song lyrics on one. Hard to miss but somehow they did )
When we tried to cancel service the rep back peddled and said we would not be charged for
"items not returned" any longer. He also pointed out that our contract has a clause that says
it AUTO RENEWS every 3 years and unless you give 60 days notice before the end of
contracted time you are stuck with them for another 3 years or you have to pay out the rest
of your contract. Bad service, bills padded with LOTS of extra charges, dirty gowns, rude reps

LOOK AT YOUR INVOICES!!!
I happened to be walking by the front desk and noticed that the bulk of the charge on that
particular invoice was labeled as "UPCHARGE". Upcharge huh?
Well it's the amount they charge to come to my office when my bill doesn't reach $25.
Soooooo $2.15 to clean my coat, almost $17 just to bring it to me!?!? EVERY WEEK. $70 dollars
a week, over $800 a year, for NOTHING!
Check your invoices, these people are shady, and not responsive.
If you are considering hiring a linen service, keep looking.

I just received this email notification from Medico.
Dear Customer,
Effective April 1, 2020, Republic Master Chefs, Medico Professional Linen, and Medico
Healthcare Linen Service will be passing on the costs imposed by Visa, American Express,
and Mastercard to our customers who choose to pay our invoices using one of these
methods of payment (hereinafter referred to as an "Administration Fee."). The Administration
Fee will be 2.5 percent, which is equal to or less than the costs imposed on us by Visa,
American Express, and Mastercard. The fee will process in the month subsequent to the
credit card charge, i.e., if you pay an April invoice of $100 with a credit card, a separate May
invoice will reflect an administration fee of $2.50. The administration fee will not be imposed
on debit cards, payments by check, or ACH transactions.
Seriously guys? We ALL pay credit card processing fees as merchants..it's part of the cost of
doing business and the convenience of accepting credit cards. Would you rather pay
someone to sit there and open envelopes versus having your customers on autopay? Plus,
with autopay, you get paid exactly on time instead of waiting for customers to send things in
the mail. I'm curious if this would qualify for class action litigation since most businesses who
signed long term contracts were not faced with these fees when they initially signed their
contracts. I will do some research in this area.

Updated review

We are an exclusive medical corporation which uses this company for the past eight years.
Please be aware that you cannot get out of their contract, please read before you sign. Also
management does not get back with you ever in timely manner. I'm extremely disappointed
from this company and so please do yourself a favor and stay away. Thank you
Your reply on the bottom is quite funny because I'm asking the driver for the supervisor to
call me for months and no phone call yet.

Medical Team.. work together to work a sub stainable solution?
I called over and over for over 3 months for someone to address my concern about being
over charged by over $10,000 for sheets and towels I never received.. Only to be told you
would not consider any adjustment and for me to pay the bill and continue paying for sheets
and towels that would not be deliver! I can't operate with out sheets so I had to find another
vendor.. So now you sue me for over $80,000 for breach of contract?!
This is working toward a sub stainable solution?
If you were really interested in customer service you would of credited my account and
adjusted my weekly deliveries.. Thats what honorable companies that value their customers
would of done. This should be a Warning to anyone considering doing business with Medico.
Run!
Also since you decided to sue my wife as well because she signed the credit application we
are in contact with the attorney generals office for consumer fraud.

DO NOT SIGN THIER AGREEEMENT! RUN FROM MEDICO!!! Extremely unethical in business
practices. They quote low prices then double Bill you. They also double up your delivery
quantities and raise your bill. We were lied to by Nancy Campbell and her manager Candice
Hunt. We agreed to .31 per sheet flat rate with no additional fees (fuel surcharge, rack rental,
bag usage, etc & every other up charge they can find). I was also promised that the Medico
economy sheet was better than the Specialty linen premium sheet. Complete lie!! She gave
samples (100 sheets to use). The samples were new and clean. They were premium sheets to
fool us. Once our deliveries showed, we received old and extremely worn sheets with stains.
We complained about quality for months. They promised to improve. They did not improve.
They promised to upgrade us to the premium sheet for free, but surprise surprise; we never
received premium sheets. The last 2 straws that broke the Camels back; received a sheet with
blood and human tissue in the sheet. We took pictures and we were done! At that moment,
we called and cancelled. I wanted to know what I owed and so I could pay and be done. Upon
reviewing balances and invoices (2nd and last straw) we had been getting double charged
and they increased our sheet quantity on invoices without our request of permission. Nancy
Campbell put in fraudulent claims for sheet increases. She is an unethical sales person. THEY
RAISED OUR QUANTITIES BUT NEVER DELIVERED MORE SHEETS. The quantities they were
billing, our cabinets couldn't possibly store. BEWARE: I refused to pay any more invoices until
I was reimbursed for over billing. They delayed response and kept telling me they were
looking into the matter. The delay was for a purpose!! They sent me a letter cancelling on my
account for failure to pay. Then they immediately sell your debt to a sleezy collection lawyer
that will sue you for the amount due remaining on the contract and any past due balances.
They are running a racket. I have a lawyer and we are fighting. Total scumbags. Stay away!!
The sleezy lawyer will run the legal letter through his postage machine and stamp the date,
but then delay mailing you the form to short change you for time to respond. The sleezy
lawyers are Creditors Adjustment Bureau. The lawyer is Kenneth J Freed (a total scumbag
lawyer) whom is responsible for maintaining the negative connotation people have regarding
lawyers. Collection lawyers are bottom of the barrel scumbags. Do not trust this company. If
you are in a contract and need to cancel. Read your contract and send cancellation via
certified letter. Don't tell them you are cancelling. Be sure to have cause and send the
cancellation via certified letter. If you call them to work it out, they start their legal process to
sue you for the remainder of a contract and they will stall for months to start this process. Isis
Welty is a district manager and Scott Donaldson is flunky Operations manager that play part
in the stall game. They both make promises and don't comply. I have yet to receive all the
invoices from Scott and it has been over a year and multiple requests. Perhaps he is in jail
and can't comply? Another note: Nancy Campbell and Candice Hunt made a strange
statement on our final negotiation call; Nancy said "You will like working with our small
company". "We have never sued anyone, right Candice?" Candice Hunt, "no, we have never
sued anyone." Liars! Maybe they don't sue, but their sleezy partner does and read all the
horrible reviews. They are notorious for lawsuits. They have lost almost all business from our
industry and all franchise owners have fled this unethical and horrible company!!

My father was using Medico for his small business (five employees) for as many years as I can
remember. He recently had to retire immediately due to health reasons. His business has also
failed due to his poor health and we are in the process of filing for bankruptcy.
Where does Medico come into play? My dad had a past due balance of around $400 with
Medico--which he absolutely owed. He didn't pay it because like I mentioned simply because his
business had failed--this isn't an excuse, and he definitely owes for the services they
provided.HERE'S where it get's interesting: as I'm trying to make sense out of the mess the
sudden closure of my father's small business has created, I see a collections bill for $3600 on
the behalf of Medico--9 times the amount of the balance for services rendered. I called the
collections company (who deserve a 1-star review too) and they said they give precisely zero
shits about my dad's financial and health situation...all because of a completely bizarre 5
year contract with an early exit penalty with NO concession for bankruptcy or failing health
situation.Based on other Yelp reviews, it looks like this insane 5-year contract with MASSIVE
early ending penalty appears to be how these idiots conduct business. I would strongly
suggest to steer well-clear of this company.

Stay clear of this place. We have been customers for several years and only recently realized
the service has gone down hill. My issue, We run an upscale dental office and we like to look
sharp for our patients, The last time we had our jackets replaced was September 2015. We
called last year to have some of our jackets replaced as they are getting old and need to be
retired. Jackets are a requirement of the job. In the past year and a half we have called three
times and they keep telling us we are in rotation. This was the last time I was going to
listen to this song and dace. The Dr. called the service and stated we did not require their
services as we pay a monthly fee and we have old dingy torn jackets. This is when they dropped
it on us. Jorge L said we are under contract and we would need to buy out the contract. We
were very surprised to hear this. They explained the last time they delivered jackets (in
2015) we signed one. We pulled the paperwork and there it was. They snuck in a 60 month
contract with an automatic renewal in with the new replacement jackets, No email confirmation or
upfront disclosure. Just a quick hello here are you jackets sign here. NEVER NEVER NEVER
just sign... please read the fine print. Even if you know them.
BEWARE You may get stuck in a forever contract. I know I know we should've Yelped!! well here is my YELP!!!
Please read all the negative reviews are for the same issues.

Horrible! Deceiving contracts! Poor service
I had refused to sign a 5 year renewal contract and they claimed that regardless I would have to pay the balance of the new contract to get out!
After promising that I would be released after paying a smaller amount , they turned me over to collections with an amount equal to the remainder of a 5 year
Service was poor with inconsistent delivery and rising fees
Stay Away

The most inept company I have ever dealt with. Nobody has any idea what they are doing. A
company that is masquerading as a uniform rental company. Cannot provide reliable information
regarding the product they represent. Provide catalogs to choose inventory that is no longer
available. No followup regarding said inventory not available. Not a single month goes by without
billing errors. Calling them on the phone is a colossal waste of time. Do not ever do
business with this crooked, deceptive company. Do not take my word, look at the vast majority of
the reviews.
